Colosseum & Circus Maximus experience with multimedia video
Enjoy a full experience of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Circus Maximus. Enrich your visit with a multimedia video as an introduction of Ancient Rome, about the reconstruction of the most important monuments of the Eternal City.
Start your experience with a 25-minute Multimedia Video (produced by a company which has produced videos for Unesco, BBC and National Geographic) which graphically illustrates how Rome today was thousands of years ago in the times of the Roman Empire. Allow the Multimedia Video to take you back in time to Ancient Rome. You will appreciate this experience when later you walk through the ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and enter the magnificent Colosseum.
After the Multimedia Video, you will be accompanied by dedicated Touristation staff to the entrance of the Roman Forum to help your with the security and ticketing procedures. Once inside, explore at your leisure the Roman Forum Ruins where the ancient Roman Citizen used to live. Continue your visit by making your way to the Palatine Hill which was the site of the Foundation of Ancient Rome and the site where the most important emperors and kings built there magificent palaces.
After approximately two hours of your visit of the Archeological Area, step inside one of the world's most famous monument: The Colosseum. Explore at your own pace the immense amphitheatre, the largest ever built by the Roman Empire and imagine you were one of the thousands of Romans watching the gladiator fights and public spectacles.
Your experience also includes a visit of Circus Marximus. The Circus Maximus was a chariot racing track built in Rome in the 6th century BC. Its circuit was also used for other uses, hosting for example the Roman Games or gladiator fights, until the last chariot races were held in the 6th century AD.
The staff at the meeting point will provide you with all the information necessary for your discovery. Circus Maximus is a very flexible experience.
