Best of Rome Pass
Discover the Eternal City on your own, with a pass that guarantees you full access to the main monuments of Rome.
Report to the Touristation Office at Aracoeli located at Piazza d’Ara Coeli 16, near the entrance of the Archaeological Area of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The Touristation Office is equipped with all the services for welcoming tourists: free Wi-Fi, restrooms, ATMs, vending machines, and additional services dedicated to vulnerable individuals. You will be welcomed by a dedicated multilingual staff who will provide you with all the information to make the most of your stay in Rome. Begin your experience with a 30-minute multimedia 3D video (produced by a company that has created videos for UNESCO, the BBC, and National Geographic) that graphically illustrates what Rome looked like thousands of years ago during the Roman Empire and how it is today. Let the Multimedia 3D Video take you back in time to Ancient Rome. You will appreciate this experience when you later walk among the ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and enter the magnificent Colosseum.
Next, you will be accompanied by the dedicated Touristation staff to the entrance of the Roman Forum to assist you with security procedures and ticket control. Inside, explore the ruins of the Roman Forum: a place that tells the story of Rome through the centuries, once the vibrant center of public, political, social, and religious life of the city. You will see remains of temples, basilicas, and monuments that hosted crucial events in Roman history. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to observe the architectural remains up close and understand Roman engineering and art. Let your imagination transport you back in time to an era when this place was the beating heart of Rome.
Continue towards the Palatine Hill, which was the site of the founding of ancient Rome and where the most important emperors and kings built magnificent palaces. Walking among the ruins, you can imagine the daily life of the emperors and Roman nobles who lived here.
Conclude your visit to the Archaeological Park with entry to the Colosseum (entry time is approximately two hours after your reservation time), one of the most famous monuments in the world. Explore the immense amphitheater, the largest ever built by the Roman Empire, and imagine being one of the thousands of Romans watching gladiator fights and public spectacles. Don’t forget to look up at the towering arches that rise majestically, testament to timeless architecture. The games and battles that once animated this place still echo among the stones, making every step a journey back in time.
Continue with the other attractions included in the offer: the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pantheon, and a guided tour of the center of Rome (Piazza Navona/Pantheon/Trevi Fountain).
Enjoy masterpieces of art in the corridors, courtyards, and galleries of the Vatican Museums where each corridor tells an era, and each artwork unveils a secret: a journey through time where beauty and spirituality intertwine in an eternal embrace. Admire Michelangelo's frescoes in the Sistine Chapel: a universe of colors and shapes, where the divine merges with the human in an eternal embrace of beauty and spirituality. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica: it stands majestically in the heart of Rome, an imposing symphony of architecture and faith, where light filters through magnificent stained glass, dancing on precious marbles and artworks that tell centuries of history and devotion. Stroll through the evocative naves of the largest church in the world, admire Michelangelo's "Pietà" and the beautifully carved pulpit by Bernini.
Discover the illustrious Pantheon, an architectural gem hidden in the heart of Rome where it stands majestically. A temple of light and shadow where the great eye of the sky, the oculus, penetrates with golden rays, embracing history and eternity in a marble and granite embrace. Its dome, a masterpiece of engineering, seems to defy the laws of time, while the centuries intertwine in a silent dialogue between the divine and mortals.
