- Tours of the catacombs must be part of a guided group; independent visits are not permitted due to the delicate nature of the site.
- Catacomb tours are not recommended for those prone to claustrophobia due to small spaces.
- Dress modestly to respect the holy nature of the site: shoulders and knees must be covered.
- Consider bringing a light jacket as the underground tunnels can be cool.
