Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Experience

Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Experience

Visit the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Colosseum and complete your experience by exploring one of the world's most important art collections at the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.

Meet the dedicated staff at the Touristation office located at Aracoeli, Piazza Ara Coeli 16, where you will receive preliminary information and immerse yourself in the past with an immersive multimedia 3D video (produced by a company that has created videos for UNESCO, the BBC, and National Geographic): it will transport you to the iconic sites of Rome, providing a detailed view of what the city looked like during the Roman Empire. You will appreciate this experience when you later walk among the ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and enter the magnificent Colosseum.

Next, you will be escorted by the dedicated Touristation staff to the entrance of the Roman Forum to assist you with security procedures and ticket control. The Roman Forum, a place that tells the story of Rome through the centuries, was once the vibrant center of the city's public, political, social, and religious life. You will see remnants of temples, basilicas, and monuments that hosted crucial events in Roman history. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to closely observe the architectural remains and understand Roman engineering and art. Let your imagination transport you back in time to an era when this place was the beating heart of Rome. Continue your visit by heading to the Palatine, the site of ancient Rome's foundation and where the most important emperors and kings built magnificent palaces. As you walk among the ruins, you can imagine the daily life of the emperors and Roman nobles who lived here.

Conclude your visit to the Archaeological Park with entry to the Colosseum (entry time is approximately two hours after your booking time), one of the most famous monuments in the world, an eternal symbol of Rome and its glorious history. Explore the immense amphitheater, the largest ever built by the Roman Empire. Don't forget to look up at the tall arches that rise majestically, witnesses to timeless architecture. The games and battles that once animated this place still echo among the stones, making every step a journey back in time.

Continue with the other attractions included in the offer: admire the highlights of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Stroll through the Gallery of Maps, the Pinecone Courtyard, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Candelabra, and much more. Discover the masterpieces of the Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms and immerse yourself in history in the Borgia Apartments.

Enter the Sistine Chapel and admire the masterpiece on the ceiling. Enjoy the immense collection of art accumulated throughout Catholic history, including Roman sculptures and Renaissance masterpieces.
