- Dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered (shorts are not allowed).
- Museum hours and closures may change due to special religious events.
- Free admission for disabled visitors with certified disabilities of more than 74%. A companion can enter for free if the disabled visitor is not self-sufficient.
- Arrival time: You must enter at the time stated on your ticket. Latecomers will not be admitted.
- The Vatican Museums reserve the right to close any section, including the Sistine Chapel, due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.
