- Museum hours and closures may change due to special religious events.
- Dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered (shorts are not permitted).
- The Vatican Museums offer free admission for visitors with a certified disability of 74% or more. A companion is also entitled to free admission if the visitor requires assistance.
- Arrive at the Vatican at the time indicated on your ticket. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
- The Vatican Museums reserve the right to close any section, including the Sistine Chapel, due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.
