Dive into the heart of ancient Rome. Visit the fascinating remains of the Imperial Roman "Domus" in this virtual experience.

Start your experience with a multimedia video which shows the past and the present of the most important monuments, pick up your official ticket and admire the virtual reconstruction of rooms, walls, mosaics, peristyles, kitchens, baths, furnishings and decorations.

The remains of two large imperial-era houses and a huge temple have been brought to light since 2005 next to Trajan’s Column. 
With a multimedia reconstruction of the missing parts of the buildings, all visitors are able to explore the Rome of 2000 years ago, guided by Piero Angela’s narrative voice.

Using projectors, animations, and special effects, the original appearance of the buildings has been reconstructed, with their original wall structures, decorations, and furnishings.
Visitors would be offered a more effective, meaningful and enjoyable tour of the archaeological site of the Roman Domus.
