    • Do I need to book tours in advance or can I buy tickets on the spot?

      We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially for high-demand attractions like the Vatican Museums, Colosseum, and Pantheon. Many of these sites have limited daily capacity and sell out weeks ahead during peak season. You can book online or visit one of our infopoints in person.

    • What is the difference between a skip-the-line ticket and a guided tour?

      A skip-the-line ticket gives you reserved access to an attraction so you can bypass the general queue and explore at your own pace, sometimes with an audio guide. A guided tour includes a professional guide who leads you through the site, providing historical context, stories and expert commentary throughout your visit.

    • Can I get help at the attraction on the day of my visit?

      Yes — for most tours and tickets, a Touristation team member will be present at the meeting point to welcome you, provide orientation, and ensure your visit goes smoothly. The exact level of on-site assistance varies by product and is detailed on each tour page.

    • Where are the Touristation infopoints located in Rome?

      Touristation has 5 infopoints across Rome: Piazza Navona (25), Piazza d'Aracoeli (16), and three locations along Viale Vaticano (95, 97, and 101). All infopoints are open Monday to Sunday or Monday to Saturday depending on the location, with staff ready to assist you with bookings, vouchers, and tourist information.

    • Is Touristation an accredited tour operator?

      Yes. Touristation is an accredited operator with the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum Archaeological Park (PAC), CoopCulture, Zetema, Doria Pamphilj Gallery, and several other major Italian cultural heritage concessionaires. This means we offer legitimate, verified access to Rome's top attractions.
